Join fellow connoisseurs on Friday 20th April 2012 from 7.30pm at the boutique retreat’s SOS Supper Club, and savour an evening of gastronomic excellence. Sample the crème de la crème of Bordeaux vineyards, enjoying free flowing Grand Cru wines from 16 chateaux, accompanied by live food stations. 
For Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa’s special Bordeaux wine tour dinner, the rigid formality of a sit down degustation meal is being exchanged for a multi-dimensional evening that is interactive, personalised and highly exclusive. Discerning diners can enjoy mixing and mingling with fellow guests in a stunning elevated location, overlooking sought after Seminyak Beach. Selections from the extensive array of live food stations will astound the most ardent connoisseurs, and can be made at each guest’s leisure. While renowned winery owners will be at hand to personally meet, greet and impart their expert knowledge throughout the impressive gourmet journey.
Guests will arrive to SOS Supper Club’s rooftop dining deck to toast dramatic Indian Ocean views with Louis Roederer Champagne, accompanied by pass around canapés that are designed to tease the taste buds and offer a wonderful introduction to the wine and buffet highlights.
Barriere Freres is a leading négociant based in Bordeaux, France and throughout the special evening, 16 Grand Cru Classé Chateau owners from this renowned wine region will regale guests with riveting descriptions of their fine wines. Sample vintages from 2001 to 2008, including sublime varieties that are reassuringly expensive, some valued at USD 400 per glass.

To complement the distinctive Bordeaux wines, Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa’s Executive Chef has devised a superb journey for culinary aficionados. A coveted fresh seafood bounty is accompanied by a fish station delighting the palate with recipes such as walnut crusted salmon, beetroot risotto and horseradish beurre blanc. Foie gras enthusiasts will have their cravings satisfied by masterpieces like seared foie gras with caramelised mango and brioche. The aroma of roast leg of lamb stuffed with garlic, as well as braised beef short ribs and goat cheese stuffed piquillo pepper, will guide diners to the BBQ. The feast is further embellished by a crepe station and a range of exquisitely prepared French dishes, from coq au vin to beef bourguignon and cassoulet duck with Toulouse sausage.
