This hotel is at least 5 star service. Their is at least 1 staff person per guest in this hotel. They catered to our every need. It was great having the complimentary tuk tuk available at any time. Adin- one of the managers was very helpful. He recommended a great Indian restaurant in town and since we didn't have a lot of time the tuk tuk driver waited for us while we ate to take us to the circus. Hotel is spotless. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

This trip was part our 15th Wedding Anniversary, my 41st birthday and family hols round into one. It has always been my wish to visit Angkor Wat and our first trip to Siem Reap. We had a great stay at Anantara. Service was top-notched, from the moment we were met at the airport, to the welcome we had when we reached the hotel and I remembered, Parkraj (I might have gotten his name wrong, my apologies) said to us, "Welcome home." and he was so right. Our suite was comfortable, our sons enjoyed the space and pool of course. We had our dinner and lunch on two days at Chi, and the service rendered was really good. The complimentary tuk-tuk transfers were a great way to get to town and when we needed to travel a bit further for dinner. I did a Khmer Massage one afternoon and it was really great after I had gotten back from my own private tour at Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Thanks to everyone at Anantara for your smiles and joy in showing us how to feel at home.

Our first stay at an Anantara resort was wonderful. Anantara Angkor Resort is well located - very close to the airport and only a short drive to all the Angkor temples. Our room was large, well equipped, and overlooked the garden and pool area. The rooms is styled with lovely Cambodian touches and decorations. We pre-booked a day tour through the resort which the guide cleverly split into two half day tours - sunrise to 8am at Angkor Wat and then 2:30pm-5pm at Angkor Thom and Ta Promh. This avoided the worst of the direct sun (though there is no escaping the heat here!). Though we only stayed two nights we had a chance to test out the spa and restaurant (in-room dining and in the restaurant) at the resort as well as the pool. All were lovely and relaxing after the temple hopping. We will definitely recommend staying at Anantara Angkor Resort and look forward to experiencing other Anantara properties.
