The "Abu Dhabi Municipality Fee" applies to all hotel guests and consists of two fees:

  • 4% of the value of the guest’s total invoice
  • AED 15 per night for each bedroom

These fees will be charged at checkout by the resort.

 

Tourism Dirham : According to Dubai's Executive Council Resolution, the Tourism Dirham is a minimal charge of AED 20 to be applied to hotel guests, staying in any type of hotel establishment, this fee is levied per occupied bedroom, per night effective for all stay. The fee will be collected from guests at check out.

Overall a spotless experience, from booking to check in. From guest room to hotel facilities. From amazing food to a 5 star service from all employees.IMPECCABLE!This is my 2nd time in the property, the first time was to have brunch in their Crescendo restaurant with friends which I had a very good review :-) We went to that restaurant again during this stay and it did not disappoint! The buffet dinner makes you crave for more and the variety of menu was just out of this world! The buffet breakfast was also a 5 star as expected that you don't want to stop eating if you can :-)

We had one of the lagoon view rooms which gives a 2 minute walk to all the restaurants, beach or pool. The breakfast in Cresendo was excellent. For dinners we stuck to the other restaurants as these were a bit quieter. We had half board and the menu choices were plentiful, few options had a supplement by about 80-90% of the menus were available on HB. The food in the other restaurants was also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, Emanuele the concierge was great as we didn't arrange any tours before arriving but helped us chose a desert safari tour - I later checked on groupon and another tour was maybe 50AED cheaper but didn't include a hotel pick up. He was also able to give us discounts to Atlantis on the Palm. Can't thank Emanuele enough for taking care of those few things - made it so much easier for us!

The entire setting was done up in good taste - much like a tropical rain-forest. There are shallow swimming pools across the property and then there is a larger one separately near the private beach. Restaurants are dotted across the expanse which makes sure that you never far from a quick bite. The staff is very helpful, kind, well informed and always have a smile while serving. The food is super and the breakfast is excellent. There is a Kids Play area to take care of the little ones while the parents enjoy. Also there are separate playgrounds near the residences so that the kids are never far from fun. Special mention of the staff includes Jeanne at the South Residences reception who takes exceptional care of all guests.
