Fantastic Honeymoon After extensive research we chose Niyama Private Islands for our Honeymoon and we will never regret the choice. A fantastic resort that lives up to the high prices and standards you should expect in this price range. A bit far from Male (50 mins with seaplane) but for us that made the trip even more special. The best with this resort is that it fits social people the best with nice house music in the bars and happenings several days a week. We travelled without our kids but those families that was there with their kids was no problem and made no noice as they all were families with high standards on theirs kids manners/behaviour. We would definately go back! Thanks for a great experience Niyama and especially to Ibba!

Memories for a lifetime In addition to all the charms of a carefree and peaceful life on the island in this hotel, you won't have tedious time AT ALL. Restaurants, water activities, bike riding and surfing... Thank you very much, "The Surf Shack" bar and megapozitive bartender Tony! With whom was cool to talk after a few hours alone with The Indian Ocean. And, of course, for the atmosphere! Mint and all the other plants for cocktails are growing near the bar. You will have the best cocktail! I will remember these sunsets, waves, perfect music and Daiquiri all my life.

Amazing Resort!! Everything You Could Ask For! My husband and I had planned a very belated honeymoon trip to the maldives - 3 years in the planning! Finally we settled on Niyama and off we went. From the moment we arrived into Male the staff were fantastic. I have a small fear of flying so to get on the seaplane was rather trying and the staff couldn't have made me feel more comfortable or safe (the seaplane was one of the best experiences ever - I would not hesitate to do it again now). Arriving at the Island you are greeted by your personal Thakuru who took us around to show us everything and finally to our room. We spent one night on a over water villa with a pool and then the rest of our trip in a beach villa with pool. We preferred the beach villa for no other reason that we enjoy walking along the beach. Everything is arranged for you and you don't need to worry about a thing. All of the restaurants were amazing - I do not eat any fish/seafood and every restaurant and staff member seemed to be aware of this prior to our arrival which was great! Towards the end of our trip we decided to go for a snorkelling experience - we wish we had done this earlier because it was a fantastic experience and we would have loved to have gone again to another reef. All in all I would highly recommend Niyama to anyone looking for a holiday of luxury and relaxation!
