From the moment we arrived to the time we left NOTHING was too much trouble. Fantastic hotel, excellent amenities, wonderful rooms (we had two as two grown up kids), great location (3 or 4 mins walk from night market) EVERY single staff member were friendly and helpful- oh & their Resturant 'Service 1921' served some pretty good Thai food as well! We've stayed in some high end hotels & this ranks up there with them

Maybe one of my best stay ever!This hotel is so perfect, like heaven on earth and service is very outstanding! Staff are so friendly, attentive and welcoming. They welcomed us with a traditional tea and flowers. We felt like a Stars in this place! We booked all our activities from the helpful hotel, our expedition in the elephant sanctuary was so perfect and it's perfectly located at walking distance from the night market!The breakfast was amazing and tasty with a perfect view on the river. 

OutstandingHard to fault. We took the inclusive package and enjoyed full menu, bar and activities every day. It really was inclusive and no bill shock.The walking with elephants and riding elephants activities were very well put together, right down to the blue clothes left in your room the night before to wear. Also felt safe even for our 7yo they were very careful.Loved the cooking course, including local market tour, and eating our cooking for lunch. Speedboat racing on the Mekong was also fun with our young kids.Family room was a decent size and we were rarely in it. Plugs are US.Pool is great, views are incredible and staff could not be more helpful. Good range of Thai and western food in the main restaurant and decent Italian in the seperate Italian restaurant.Suggest you book activities ahead. Resort is about 1hr easy drive from Chiang Rai airport and Anantara provided transfers on our inclusive deal. I Never felt tipping was necessary but was appreciated when we did tip for activities and drivers.
