We flew into Arusha as the starting point for a 4 location flying safari. The lodge had spacious, comfortable rooms, service and staff overall were excellent. Food was good and the overall setting on a coffee plantation set away from the hustle and bustle of town was perfect. Pool looked lovely; it was too cool for us to use it when we visited.We highly recommend the tour of the coffee plantation (extra charge for it) and the shops/Shanga workshop for glass and jewelry are a plus to have on site.

Tarangire Treetops Treetops is spectacular! The main building and each "treehouse" is built around a baobab tree. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The main building is wonderful and open air with a lovely pool that often animals come close to. The staff was delightful, helpful and friendly. The meals and drinks were excellent. Both evenings we dined outside by candlelight with Maasai tribal entertainment! We had our own host who took very good care of us, made sure we had escorts to and from our treehouse, took care of our bags, etc. Our last morning an elephant came right up to the dining room to tell us goodbye. The only downside is that Treetops is a bit of a drive over very bumpy roads from the park.

Kilindi Zanzibar Writing this one year late but what an amazing resort!! We stayed at kilindi before and after our wedding and could not recommend it enough!! Wow what a relaxing time we had. If I ever feel stressed now I shut my eyes and picture the beach and water at this resort. There's a quiet beach where you can unwind on, whilst sipping coconuts in the crystal clear, turquoise waters... And if that's too stressful you can take a break and snooze on their luxurious day beds!! The villas are perfect! Totally charming, luxurious and rustic. All the private butlers were fab!! Organising anything you want instantly. The spa has incredible treatments! And the food is out of this world!! The highlight being an evening eating lobster on the beach!! You don't even feel like there's another guest in the resort as its so peaceful! Would highly recommend the place- we can't wait to go back!!!
