International transfers

As a global hospitality company, we may transfer your personal data across multiple jurisdictions to the following locations, insofar as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing of your personal data specified in this privacy statement:

  • Countries where our corporate offices are located;
  • Countries where we manage and operate resorts, hotels, and/or preview centres; and
  • Countries where our third-party service providers, advisors, and consultants are located.

Where personal data is transferred to a country with a lower level of data protection as compared to the country in which the information was collected, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information and privacy are protected in line with the applicable legal requirements of the country where the information was collected. Whenever we transfer your personal data, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

  • Where we use certain service providers, we may use data processing contractual clauses that provide sufficient protection measures which enable the enforcement of your rights as data subject, including effective legal remedial measures according to the rules and methods as prescribed and announced by the Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.
  • We only transfer personal data to another country/region in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
