Anantara Vacation Club, Asia’s premier holiday ownership programme, and Florentia Village, China’s leading brand of luxury designer outlets, are proud to announce that their strategic partnership has entered its seventh year. Over the past six years, we have worked hand-in-hand to create a pioneering, cross-industry member benefits system, providing exceptional holiday and lifestyle experiences. In the future, we look forward to deepening our strategic partnership to offer more exclusive privileges and excellent services to Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners and Florentia Village Members.
Established by Minor Hotels in 2010, Anantara Vacation Club’s holiday ownership programme is a point-based system that provides greater flexibility and control over member’s travel plans. Club Points Owners have locked-in rates at Club Resorts in Thailand, Bali, Dubai, and New Zealand, where they can find fun and relaxation suitable for every family member.
They can also explore 4,300+ resorts and hotels around the world through partnerships with other Minor Hotel brands and affiliated timeshare exchanges.
In recent years, Anantara Vacation Club has grown rapidly– opening three Club Resorts in 2023 and two in 2024 and upgrading a Club Resort in Samui to a Signature Club Resort, Anantara Vacation Club at Avani+ Samui. And the Club’s flagship property at Phuket, Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket, was awarded a Best Overseas Hotel at the Voyage Hotel & Resort Awards 2024 in China.
In addition to these superb properties, Points Owners can enjoy a range of exclusive benefits, such as discounted rates at selecting properties and access to special events and experiences, including Florentia Village.
Florentia Village, the leading brand of luxury designer outlets in China under the Italian real estate entity RDM, has redefined the landscape of experiential retail with an innovative blend of shopping and leisure since its establishment in China in 2011. Currently, Florentia Village has a total of seven outlets across Greater China, located in Beijing/Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou/Foshan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, and Hong Kong.
Rooted in Italian culture, art, and architectural design, Florentia Village pioneered the "micro-vacation" brand concept and was one of the first to introduce family entertainment centres in the outlets. Chinese and Italian cultural events are also held to make Florentia Village a lifestyle destination that go beyond shopping. Several outlets have been recognised as AAA National Tourist Attractions. The luxury designer outlet brand has won the hearts of Chinese consumers and recognition from the industry with its authentic Italian style and outstanding service.
With over 6.3 million members and a premier retail footprint in China exceeding 500,000 square metres, Florentia Village brings together more than 300 globally renowned brands and offers year-round savings of up to 80% off. Florentia Villages have also garnered numerous industry accolades, including 2024 “Luxury Shopping Destination of the Year” by TimeOut Shanghai, “Most Popular Micro-Vacation Commercial Destination of the Year” 2025 by GOGO Shanghai, and “Best Urban Staycation Destination” 2025 by Beijing BANG.
Projected growth is also on the horizon: In 2025, the third phase of the Shanghai Florentia Village officially break ground; and in 2026, a new project in Istanbul will open its doors to the public. These endeavours will no doubt inject fresh momentum into the long-term partnership between Anantara Vacation Club and Florentia Village as the two explore new opportunities in lifestyle, travel, and member experience to deliver excellence.
Since the partnership began in 2019, Florentia Village Prestige Club members can convert their points into Anantara Vacation Club holiday experiences and book stays at popular destinations. Even during the challenging time of the pandemic, Anantara Vacation Club adapted swiftly, opening up a diverse range of domestic destinations in Chengdu, Guiyang, and beyond, ensuring that the vacation rights and benefits of its members were not impacted.
As of now, over 20,000 Florentia Village Prestige Club members have leveraged this points exchange system to enjoy Anantara Vacation Club’s curated selection of premium vacations with ease. A good portion of these members then upgraded to Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners, expanding their holiday horizons.
For Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners, if they are not a Florentia Village's Prestige Club Member yet, they can join at the equivalent tier; if they already are but a higher tier Points Owner, then they may have their Prestige Club membership upgraded to match. This means they can enjoy benefits from real-time promotions on WeChat to free parking, occasional daily free tickets at the "Fantasy Jungle" park, and more. Additionally, for events jointly organised by the two brands, Club Points Owners may be invited to attend exclusive receptions in the VIP lounge to enjoy a Florentia Village shopping experience while they benefit from the travel resources of the Anantara Vacation Club.
Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners have truly enjoyed the fruit of this relationship, with over 20% joining Florentia Village’s Prestige Club or having their membership upgraded with tier matching. Together, Anantara Vacation Club and Florentia Village have achieved significant milestones, with their strategic alignment further deepening over time.
This strategic partnership leverages intelligent technology so that customers from all sides can reap immediate benefits, from converting Florentia Village points to Anantara Vacation Club status matching. Both brands are continuously analysing their digital services to ensure that members and owners can use their points with convenience and flexibility.
Soon, Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners will enjoy even greater convenience as they will be able to seamlessly redeem their Club Points at Florentia Village restaurants. At the same time, Florentia Village members are going to have access to Anantara Vacation Club’s expertise in high-end travel to enhance their journey with curated advice and tips.
